I'm a big supporter of our local farmers' markets. People talk about buying organic, but in the stores, often times, they're coming on trucks from distant locations. In Los Angeles, we have open markets every day of the week and the prices are very reasonable...so I say...go local...fresh and delicious and you get to know the farmers. Makes it personable, fun and delicious.
